Heyyyyyy Everyone!! So I had a pretty sweet weekend and Saturday DID turn out to be interesting. Saturday morning, my brother and I were on our way to this bah mitzvah he was going to DJ at and we stopped at 7 Eleven first so I could pick up a pack of cigs. While I was paying for the cigs, this old guy that was in front of me told me "if you wanna live up to 90, like me, smoke lots of cigarettes" lol.... he wasn't 90... We finally arrived at the spot, which was nice, but I had no idea where we were because I wasn't paying attention. The place had some really nice chandeliers with a small stage, a balcony, and some sweet lighting. Oh and one of the dancers thought I was cute, but that bitch was 35 and she apparently is crazy. Good thing I'm not single.
Now, it's been like 2 months since I've done roadie work for my brother at a bah/bar mitzvah but man, those fucking kids. I didn't think it was possible to forget how fucking annoying those damn kids could be. Sometimes, the adults can be annoying as shit but that's usually when they're wasted. That wasn't the case that night, it was the fucking kids. I swear to you, there was this one table by where I was working, that seated all these boys... they were fucking crushing up Smarty candies and snorting them during the guest of honor's candle lighting! I'm like, "WTF?!". So anyway, as the party went on, I'm standing there, managing photobooth and it's just funny how the kids, mainly girls, get in there not knowing how to work the booth but still persist to press the buttons. Sometimes, I just wanna be like "BITCHES, let me work this shit for you!". Ever since we arrived, which was like around 11:30 or so, I was helping unloading the equipment until the party started. So, technically, I had been standing and walking back and forth since 11:30ish til around 6:45, which was when we finished loading the equipment. I was sore and tired as SHAT.
Later that night, Nicole came over and we went to Hudson Terrace with my brother and his friends. Hudson Terrace is a nice ass spot in lower Manhattan where my brother DJ's at. It was nice, we got in no problem, got some free drinks which was awesome because they're expensive as FAHCK! Just to give you an idea of how expensive a drink is, our friend bought 2 vodka and cranberries... it cost him like $43!! Like DAAAAAMMMNN!!! Good thing my brother's a DJ. Lol It was a good night, we didn't get back home until around 3:45 am and I was shot.
Sunday was pretty much Lazy Sunday, me and Nicole didn't get out of bed til almost 3 and we pretty much just chilled and watched movies and TV shows. As for today, I plan on taking Nicole out to eat since she's leaving for school tomorrow morning and we haven't been out to eat in a long time. So, I'm excited for that. As for the rest of the day, I have no idea what else is going on. All I know is that I'm gonna keep going. ^__^ So until next time on...
